CERTIFICATIONS: Valid Arizona State Teaching Credential with appropriate subject matter endorsement. Meeting the “Appropriately Certified” definition under the Every Student Succeeds Act or alternate teaching certification pathways available with a bachelor’s degree.

CLASS TITLE: BEHAVIOR INTERVENTION CLASSROOM TEACHER-GRADES K-4
Overview: As a K-4 Behavior Intervention Classroom Teacher, you will guide students toward realizing their potential by translating district curriculum standards into meaningful learning experiences. You will maintain a positive and conducive educational environment, catering to all students' intellectual and behavioral needs. Essential qualifications include holding a Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate and a Current IVP Fingerprint Card and demonstrated abilities in developing cooperative relationships with teachers, administrators, parents, and students. Effective verbal and written communication skills foster collaboration and support student success.
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate.

- Demonstrated knowledge of related subject matter, instructional skills, and resource materials.
- Ability to utilize a variety of effective instructional and management techniques.
- Capacity to develop and maintain cooperative and effective professional relationships with teachers, administrators, parents, and students.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Utilize technology or instructional media to enhance students' learning experiences.
- Continuously collect student achievement data for instructional and management decisions.
- Maintain positive relationships with students and communicate openly with students and parents regarding academic and behavioral progress.
- Work with parents and school personnel to provide appropriate education for each student.
- Maintain student records related to achievement, attendance, and discipline.
- Provide a positive and safe learning environment.
- Actively participate in establishing and supporting school goals.
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous professional growth.
